Angela supported our Leadership Team before and during a large go to market conference. This was done after our leadership team followed the training she provided earlier on executive presence.
Before the conference Angela provided support by giving guidance and feedback on our presentation preparation including practicing on stage the day before the conference. During the conference she co-hosted the MC role with one of our Leadership Team members. I was one of the MC’s and by co-hosting it gave me before the conference a more confident feeling to have someone next to you that has that experience, she was for me the role model that I could learn from in practice. While the day progresses, I gained more confidence and I felt I really developed my skills in executive presence. In addition I also presented two presentations. During the preparation it was really helpful to have Angela asking the questions that the audience would like to know about and she really helped to bottom line the key message. While practicing the day before the conference, Angela gave me a few tips that helped in gaining confidence and getting the message across including improvement on supporting materials like the powerpoint presentation. As what I have learned from Angela, I had to directly put into practice it didn’t only help in preparation and during the conference, I really feel that I’m using the skills learned from Angela now every day when I present or even any time connecting with people.

In November Angela de Longchamps was one of our key note speakers at the Scania Southern Africa 5th Annual Business Process Management Conference. EOH Advisory Services appointed Tandem Learning in mid-2016 to help guide the company in transitioning its consulting team. The team had been through some significant and disruptive change in recent times leaving the team unsure of what leadership meant.
